About Lawton

Lawton is the President and CEO of System Technology Inc. (STI) a Provo-based solution provider of HP printer service and supplies. Since 2003 the STI staff has redefined the dynamic of the 15 year old company and repositioned the business to cater to the needs of some of Utah’s most demanding corporations. Symantec, Altiris, Sundance, ProPay, and Prudential Utah among others have turned to STI as a mission-critical provider of consistent and reliable office printing services.

In 2004 Lawton was selected as one of the top three BYU Student Entrepreneurs of the Year in the Marriott School of Management sponsored SEOY competition. In 2005 and then again in 2006 STI went on to receive the prestigious Best of State award, becoming the only printer service company in the history of the competition to receive recognition for its innovative dedication to business growth and development.

With 7 years of industry experience Lawton has a unique understanding of the management discipline and financial responsibility that is required to transition an established company into its second stage of growth without the backing of Angel or VC investors. Lawton is a member of the Utah Technology Council, Provo-Orem Chamber of Commerce, and the Recycling Coalition of Utah.
